class on your own or bring some

friends. Parents and children can learn a new instrument together!

Very simple, accessible, and fun group lessons geared towards  beginners. Recommended ages

7 and up.

Group classes are offered weekly on Wednesdays from 6:00-6:45pm with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 6 students. More classes may be added as necessary.

We begin each class with a small individualized lesson for each student, and then come together for the bulk of the lesson to play and sing as a group. Ukulele students also have the opportunity to join the violin students at recitals and performances throughout the year.

Music Together® is an international early childhood music and movement program for children from birth through age 5 and their parents/caregivers.

Music Together® believes that:

  • All children are musical.
  • All children can achieve basic music competence; that is, they can learn to sing in tune and move with accurate rhythm.
  • The participation and modeling of parents and other primary caregivers are essential to a child’s musical growth.
  • At this early stage growth is best achieved in a playful, musically rich, and non-performance-oriented learning environment.

*Please note that Music Together classes are currently on hold. Check back soon for more information, or send me a message on the contact page and I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have!

Music Together

Suzuki and Traditional violin lessons for students age 4 and up; from the absolute beginner to the aspiring music major! No matter your level or background, in our studio you will learn to play the violin

in a positive, encouraging, and self-affirming environment. I believe that it is possible to hold students to a high standard of excellence and also foster their sense of self-worth and regard for others.

Included are weekly private lessons, twice-monthly group classes, and plenty of recitals and performance opportunities throughout the year to share the gift of music with the community.

Parents of young children: Prepare to be actively involved during your child's lesson and practice time at home! This includes listening attentively and taking notes during the lesson itself, as well as being a practice partner for your child at home. Especially with the youngest pupils, parental support is a key factor in children's musical development. I prefer to think of us as a village: teacher, parent, student, and studio peers all cooperating to foster the growth and development of every child. Relish the journey!
